Iconic Chatham Main Street storefront. It feels so good to walk down a sidewalk in a small town with a beautifully curated bookstore! Art supplies, cozy children's section, gifts, etc. The little ones are currently enjoying the great selection of graphic novels.

Good bookstores are increasingly rare these days. We discovered this one while strolling down the Main St of Chatham. It's a gem. A surprising amount of variety and stock for a small space. The arrangement and multiple levels allow for feeling a privacy, the staff went out of their way to be helpful without being intrusive and the whole experience was warm and comforting. I liked overhearing their interactions with other customers who chatted about their purchases and ordered books. I can't wait to return.

Fabulous indie bookstore with a super friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of books, a large kids nook and a wonderful craft/paint/small games area. A definite stop when in the Chatham area.

Well stocked! Nice interior and great collection. There's also a sale shelf towards the back, where I found a beautiful poetry collection by Roger Reeves.

What an absolute gem in the heart of Chatham! My wife and I stopped by the Chatham Bookstore today during an afternoon excursion, and we were blown away by how warm and inviting this place is. The shelves are packed with thoughtfully curated books, and we were especially impressed with the fantastic children’s section. It’s designed with such care, featuring little step-down and step-up levels that give kids their own cozy nooks to explore and read. It felt like a mini-adventure for young readers, offering them a bit of privacy and fun while diving into their books. We also loved the selection of art supplies—a great addition for anyone feeling creative. And to top it all off, we were greeted by the cutest little dog who just melted our hearts. That friendly pup made the experience even more special! If you’re ever in Chatham, do yourself a favor and stop by. Whether you’re looking for your next great read, unique gifts, or some creative inspiration, this place is a true treasure. We can’t wait to visit again!

Cute store. Very helpful staff guiding you to the books you’re looking for. Stools to sit down and browse potential books. If you’re going to Chatam check this book store out on Main Street. You won’t be disappointed.

Wandered in on a trip to Chatham and found an incredible book about the Borscht Belt resorts in the Catskills region. Such a niche, specific book, and I am forever grateful I stumbled upon it! Very inviting, and easy to find what you're looking for!

Great shop with so many options! Books (obviously), art supplies, journals, calendars, writing supplies, children's books and gifts, and so much more! All genres! Stop in and check it out. You won't be disappointed!

This is a very cozy book store with plenty of seating and books. The staff is very nice and they have a cute puppy. Overall a great bookstore.

My kind of bookstore! This place kept going and going and i could’ve spent an entire afternoon exploring its shelves—or grabbed a book and settled into one of the many chairs they have scattered throughout the space. That detail was truly next level. I spotted some of my fave, less popular books on their shelves (always nice to say hi to friends! 🤭) and had a great convo with the staff member running the register. It was so well laid out and spacious with great genre sections and more. Can’t wait to return!
